I'm a student of Ancient History in the UK. I like food, rats, sci-fi, and poetry. I'm bad at updating, lately.

I post fic here, dreamwidth layouts here, and attempt to make gifs/other fandom contributions here.

Subscribe if you like, but practically nothing is public. Only my occasional fanfiction is posted public, if you're here for that. If you'd like, leave a comment on this entry and we'll do the whole mutual adding thing. I like friends! I only ask that you have a high-tolerance for the weirdo, delusional crap I have a habit of sprouting. I suffer from various mental illnesses (and yes: I really do mean suffer) and they come up a lot in this journal. I use it as a place to vent, even though I don't update all that often.

I am a 21 year old part-time student living in a tiny village in the middle of England, UK. Before this, I used to go to university in Wales, but for various annoying reasons I decided to quit. Which leaves me unemployed, mentally ill and with way too much spare time to spend at home. I very rarely leave the house due to a fun amount of agoraphobia, and I spend a lot of time in psychiatrist's offices. Fun! (Note: I am pretty cool about the whole 'mentally ill' thing and I'd like you to know that it is 100% okay to make jokes about it, etc. I don't want anyone to feel weird about it; it's a huge part of my life but I also try and make the best of it.)

Other than that, I mostly post about my large amount of pet rats (with photos!), my attempts at getting back into full-time education, and my vaguely-hopeful ambition of one day writing history books centric on Ancient Greek culture. I occasionally write about fandoms, but only when something interesting happens in them. My #1 ultimate fandom is Resident Evil (the games mostly, but the movies too) and I have loved this series since I was very young. I also love, love, love Stargate, and The Lord of the Rings. I'm not one of those people who goes from one fandom to another on a whim; I have my small number of fandoms and I stick to them :) Fandoms aren't important if you'd like to be friends, but they are a bonus.

This journal is a zero tolerance zone for ism's of any kind. Please, no arguing/no bigotry/no teenage drama. Play nice, guys :)
